Where Are The Tooth Doctor Clinics Located?
Our Capilano Location (75 Street)
This is our very first dental office and we are celebrating our 10th year in practice at this Capilano location. We call it the Capilano location because the main road in front of our dental office used to connect to Capilano road, which is now named after our local hockey hero, Wayne Gretzky.
The Edmonton dental office is located at the corner of 101 Avenue and 75 street in the neighborhood of Terrace Heights, bordering Ottewell, near the mature Edmonton communities of Holyrood and Forest Heights. There is plenty of free parking in front of our 75 Street dental office.

Our Tofield Location
Our Tofield Tooth Doctor dental office is located in the town of Tofield a short drive from Edmonton on highway 14. Dr. Peter Yoo opened the Tofield Tooth Doctor dental clinic to provide rural communities with the same modern facilities, equipment and dental care that can be found in the Edmonton Tooth Doctor dental clinics.
There is parking directly in front of The Tofield Tooth Doctor office and friendly staff to greet you.

Our Edmonton Ellerslie Location
Our Ellerslie dental office is located in the Fountain Tire building at the corner of Calgary Trail and Ellerslie Road. We are on the North West side of the building on the main floor. You can access our Ellerslie dental office from the main entrance on the East side of the building or from the West entrance. There is ample free parking with designated parking for The Tooth Doctor patients located towards the south of the main entrance.
The Tooth Doctor Ellerslie dental clinic services the southwest Edmonton communities of Blackmud Creek, Blackburne, Richford, Rutherford, Allard, Macewan, Summerside, The Orchards at Ellerslie, Aurora Walker, Ellerslie and Charlesworth.

Why General Dentistry?
Variety is the spice of life! Dr. Yoo chose general dentistry because there are always new challenges to face and new dental technologies to help patients with their oral health. Dr. Peter Yoo wanted the ability to help patients of all ages with a variety of oral health issues. He didn’t want to only do one specialized dental procedure for his entire career.
Dr. Yoo helps patients with regular dental checkups, filling dental caries, wisdom tooth extraction, dental implants, crowns, root canal, tooth whitening, Invisalign® and Botox® treatments.
What if my child (or me) is nervous about visiting the dentist?
We understand. It is not uncommon for people to be nervous about seeing the dentist, especially if they’ve had a bad past experience at another dentist.
The Tooth Doctor is excellent with children of all ages. Depending on the age of the child and their anxiety level, Dr. Yoo and his assistants will calmly and gently speak with the child, he will let them ask questions and see some of the instruments like the suction tube and mirror. The Tooth Doctor’s staff are trained to make the visit as non threatening as possible. They even go as far as to not say certain words like ‘needle’ and ‘drill’ because these can create fearful responses.
The goal is to get the exam done so that any problems can be addressed in subsequent appointments if necessary.
Sometimes all it takes is a bit of distraction by the big screen TV available in each dental exam room. They can pick their favorite show to binge watch during the visit with The Tooth Doctor.
For our nervous adult patients, we offer in-office oral sedation options. With oral sedation there is no need for a surgical suite at a hospital. You’ll only need someone to drop you off and pick you up to make sure that you arrive back home safely. In most cases, the patient doesn’t remember the dental appointment. How great is that?
What to Expect at Your First Appointment.
The first thing you will notice is a shoe rack filled with comfy slippers at the front entrance. You might be asking why do we want you to wear slippers? There are a few reasons why we ask that you remove your outdoor shoes and wear the slippers provided:
Snow, mud and other stuff. – In Edmonton we have winter most of the year. When it’s not snowy and slushy, there is a good chance of rain in the spring and fall. We want our Edmonton dental office to be as clean as possible for all of our patients to enjoy.
Lower cleaning costs. – Our aim is to provide the best care possible, for as cheap as possible. By wearing the slippers, we keep our cleaning and maintenance costs down so we can maintain lower dental costs for you.
They’re comfy. – We want you to feel like you’re at home where you can relax, watch some TV and enjoy the soothing sounds of a dental drill.
You will be warmly greeted by one of our friendly patient services attendants who will provide you with our new patient intake forms. They will be able to answer any questions that you may have and will be there to schedule any follow up appointments.
If you brought your children to see The Tooth Doctor we have a play area just for them. Your children can play with a variety of toys and games, watch movies or read from our selection of fun books.
For your enjoyment, have a complementary espresso while you are waiting to see Dr. Yoo or one of our other dentists or hygienists.
Did You Say TV’s in Every Exam Room?
Yes! Every exam room at all of our locations has a flat screen TV that can be positioned for optimal viewing for you while you are getting your dental work done by The Tooth Doctor and his team. We have Netflix® available on every TV so you have thousands of movies, series, documentaries all in high definition. With so many choices, your appointment will probably be over before you choose a program to watch.
